NIEMA JORDAN

With a background in journalism and a passion for storytelling, her work has appeared in notable publications such as ESSENCE, EBONY, and Glamour, covering topics related to health, relationships, and social issues. On her path to becoming a director and producer, Niema has also contributed to documentary films in various roles, including researcher, associate producer, and impact producer.

Her documentary film "Oasis," which explores a struggling medical clinic's work with underserved populations battling Hepatitis C, earned her the Spike Lee Student Filmmaker Award at the Denver Film Festival in 2016.

Currently, Niema has several documentary projects in development. She is actively involved in community work that supports education and the arts. She is on the Board of Directors of Oakland Kids First and she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Throughout her career, Niema Jordan has remained dedicated to the importance of impactful storytelling.
